Ah, editing wikis never fails to confuse me. I suppose I'll get working on my character in the mean time. Also, I mentioned IRC in the main thread. May not be the right place to ask, but could we get one started?

An IRC would definitely help. I'm not as familiar with it as I should be, though, so if someone with experience could make one, that would be fantastic.

Hey, I know I'm just kinda jumping in here, and this isn't too relevant to the current discussion, but if we have ideas for gym leader typings, I could get on creating teams for each of them.

I'm also starting to think of some ideas for gym leaders' teams. Since this isn't a game, I don't know how they would exactly work, though, since some people who challenge gyms have weaker teams, and some have stronger teams. So, each gym leader should have a variety of Pokemon from weak to strong to match the challenge. We should also decide the number of Pokemon battled with. Would each side use 3 Pokemon, or would the number be variable according to the strength of the challenger or the badges obtained?
Breezetop - Flying Gym: Hoothoot, Murkrow, Swablu, Washibon, Aaken and their evolutions. Also, Skarmory. Non-Flying Pokemon with Flying Move: Something with Aerial Ace???
Eureka - Leader Oppenheimer - Fire Gym: Vulpix, Flareon, Magby, Torkoal, Darumakka, Hitomoshi and their evolutions. Non-Fire Pokemon with Fire Move: Shimama with Nitro Charge??? Ambipom with Fire Punch???
Giha - Ground Gym: Sandshrew, Diglett, Cubone, Gligar, Moguryu, Gobitto and their evolutions. Non-Ground Pokemon with Ground Move: Something with Earthquake???
Noire - Leader Jérome - Dark Gym: Sneasel, Umbreon, Zorua, Murkrow, Absol, Sableye, Zoruggu and their evolutions. Also Absol. Non-Dark with Dark Move: Something with Dark Pulse or Pursuit?
Victoria - Leader Elizabeth - Normal Gym: Meowth, Yorterrie, Snubbull, Eevee, Skitty, Chillarmy and their evolutions. Non-Normal with Normal Move: Arcanine/Ninetales/Rapidash with Extremespeed?

Maybe each leader could have three teams -- a weak team, a strong team and something in the middle -- and which one is used would depend on what order they're faced in?
Those teams do look really good, though.

We decided the 18th gym, a mandatory challenge to enter the Pokemon League after beating 7 other gyms, is a 'death dealer' gym; Pokemon with movesets made for the express purpose of causing the player to lose - with a vast library of Pokemon to call on. Your final test, in other words. Pretty hardcore. Also possibly the Solarus head, with two set Pokemon (Arcanine and Gyarados), two general counters, and two specific counters. EDIT: Gondolia, the Venetian city to the southwest of Tatsu, has a hotel/aquarium/gym on the shoreline that is partially submerged underwater, possibly next to a coral reef. A water-type gym, quite obviously. Think this.

I'm having a bit of trouble finding stuff in the wiki. Do you think you could make a page of the list of gyms, or something along those lines?
Also, I agree that a "3-tier" system of sorts is a good plan. Strong, weak, intermediate teams would definitely leave enough room for us to get creative and still have legitimate teams.

Gym leader I thought of. Bug-type, named Vanessa after the Vanessa genus of butterfly. Possible pokemon are Beautifly, the Paras line, and probably others. Her badge is the Butterfly Badge; it's on her hat. Can't scan though.

Excellent drawing, I have to say. I can start on team(s) for her if you'd like.
