I'm thinking of a roaming, mask-wearing character that likes his Dark pokemon. I don't want it to sound too Mary Sue, so I'd rather the community gives me feedback on the fresh idea before trolling the board. Here's what I'm thinking
Name: Jonas Sterling, s'the name I've been using since DnD 3.5 came around. Seems to fit almost everywhere.
Hometown: Hiun, of Isshu (I love Isshu, and he didn't live there long)
Small Bio: Jonas encountered some interesting people in his youth, at around the age of 15 (malleable) joined up with Team Plasma. After a short tour with them, causing some mayhem and what not, some of them decided he was cannon fodder for one of their more complex missions and he ended up getting imprisoned for it. His pokemon at this point would have been a Cacnea, Houndour, and possibly one other (was thinking Carvanha). One night, some Gear and Magenmite were messing up the local power plant and shut down the jail. A handful of inmates, and Jonas, escaped. Now, Jonas was never that bad of a guy, he just didn't really have a family life (Parents were assholes/died, or something. Whatever people feel makes sense.) And Plasma kind of skewed him. But once he realized they were really not good people, he kind of became this roamer. He forged a new identity as Sterling Faust, and after a pretty intense encounter with his Sneasel (Before he caught it) he was left with a pretty ugly scar on his face. So he wears either a full-face mask made of porcelain (Some weird design on it, nothing like an Opera mask) or just a lower jaw bound mask to keep the scar covered. His new pokemon ID explains the scar, and his reason for walking around with the mask on.
Team: (Basic) Cacnea, Houndour, Sneasel
Team: (Advanced) Cacturne, Sharpedo, Houndoom, Weavile, Wartortle/Blastoise (Happened upon a badass squirtle), and Jiheddo/Sazandora (The new Dark Dragon hydra. needs a flier.)
Tell me what you think. I'd figure he'd be a roaming trainer that wants to undermine Team Rocket/Galatic/Plasma, and I was thinking he had some inside sources with Magma, considering their status as the weakest team out there. Maybe he knows their leader through a client with Plasma, and Magma hates Plasma, so they go to Sterling for information/to help him ursurp their enemies. I don't know, I'm ranting.
inb4 Tom Stu lol.
